In this article I take you for a photo tour arount the Sitges-Terramar race track. The pictures are made in the summer of 2008, when I visited the classic high banked oval.

A lap at the high banked Sitges-Terramar race track
On the photo above you see the Start/Finish straight of the Sitges-Terramar race track. Because this part is used as the entrance road to the house it is still in a good condition… But as you can see on the photo below, a little bit further the track is overgrown!
The first high banked corner
The photo above shows how this part of the Sitges-Terramar race track was closed by a fence with chains in 2008. Probably to prevent people from illegal racing. But when you know the way you can enter the banking…
At the end of the first high banked corner was another road block. Dou you see the yellow fence? I had to open this to enter the banking.
A kink in the back straight…
The Sitges-Terramar race track had a right kink in the “back straight”, which is very unusual for an oval!
The second high banked corner
The second high banked corner of the Sitges-Terramar Circuit has an increasing radius, compare to the first corner.
From this point the radius of the corner becomes larger and the angle of the banking becomes smaller.
Back to Start/Finish
Sitges Terramar Race Track the other way around!
Because the Sitges-Terramar Circuit was sometimes also driven clockwise, we do another lap in the opposite direction!
Do you see the unpaved road on our right hand, next to the yellow fence? That’s where I entered the banking.
Now the kink in the back straight goes left.
On the back ground is the road block again. But no problem, there was a fence that could be opened…
Look at the rock formation on the inside!
And here we’re back at Start/Finish.
